I need to replace the stock shaft radio with a brand new aftermarket head unit. NEED HELP!

I have a 1986 Ford F250 Reg. Cab with a stock shaft radio inside of it. The radio doesnt work that well so i bought a brand new aftermarket radio on ebay for really cheap when the aftermarket radio arrives im considering taking it to either a shop or trying to replace the stock radio and install the Aftermarket headunit by myself or with a friend. But no one seems to be able to give me detailed instructionson how to remove the stock radio and then modify the hole from the stock radio so that the aftermarket kit will fit inside the whole and the aftermarket head unit can be hooked up easily. IF someone could give me instructions from another website or from your own knowledge please help me because im a fraid if i dont have instructions i willl wind up messing somethingup and have to spend a lot of money just to fix something. Thankyou

Well, the radio and the TS do not use the same fuse. Have you checked the fuse panel under the steering column to see if any fuses are open? Is the radio the original or is it aftermarket?

Need wiring guide for replacing stock radio 1996 ford windstar with Dual Model XD 1222 radio have harness still need wiring assistance

I would get an adapter harness that will plug into your existing vehicle plug, and the wires are color coded to match up to most aftermarket stereos. You could check e-Bay, or a local automotive audio store for the adapter harness.

1986 F250 4X4 inner rear wheel seal is not stock

You can carefully remove the old sleeve, careful not to damage the surface underneath, inspect and assess the damage underneath. Possibly it can be repaired properly with medium then fine emery cloth polishing the surface. If there is a groove deep enough that your thumbnail catches on it, you might need to install a new sleeve. Research the brands and install the thinnest one possible. You may also be able to drive the seal in deeper or shallower to locate it in a different position on the spindle. It would only need 1/8 to 3/16" difference. Please post your results, hope this helps.
