i had looked in the trunk before but i was not sure how they were held
up;what i saw was plastic caps, not bolts and nuts .as it turn out they are plastic anchors with a plastic pin that slides in and out to hold in place.the one on the driver side is tricky cause there is an amp. right under it so you have to get that out the way first.
thanks for the tip it worked very good thank you! GOD bless.

If they are up on the rear deck... (where the back window is) you can easily gain access to them from inside the trunk... you have to lay inside the trunk and look up under the rear part of the trunk... sometimes you have to remove a small enclosure.... but they are very easy to change.... if you have to cut the connector and wire the speakers directly... pay attention to the positive and negitive side of the wires and speakers.

My 1999 buick park Ave. Superchared is very loud.

The L67 motor in the park ave ultras use a Eaton m90 supercharger. The coupler in the noise cone will go bad. Try replacing the coupler. Can usually purchase one for 40.00 from a shop that rebuilds them. Hope this helps.

How do I replace cv boot on a buick park ave

The boot you need to replace is call OUTER CV BOOT.

The quickest way to inspect is to drive it in low speed (UNDER 10 mph) tight left and right turns.

If you hear clicking sound then the CV shaft is bad.

It's also depending on how long the CV boot been crack.

===
If you decide to go ahead on the job then please observe safety and use jack stands to fully support the front end.

Remove wheel, cotter pin, retainer cap and larger axle nut.

Make alignments markings on the strut tower and steering mount so your front end will able to put back to alignment.

You will need an able body to do the following.

Remove the large lower strut bolts and swing the strut off the CV.

DO NOT ROCK THE CAR!!!

Clean off the outer CV.

Install boot, grease and the two bands.

Line up the strut and steering yoke marks

repack bearings,lock nut,cap,cotter pin,wheel.

Drive the car in low speed for 1 miles with tight turns.

Do a quick inspection to make sure the CV boot is sitting perfectly on the CV.

I have a buick park ave 1999 with a malfunction

This is a problem in the circuit that controls the warning light on your dash. I am not sure why you would have failed emissions for this, I would call your BMV and find out.

Rear speakers are cracking when tone mode is jazz, rock, country, etc.how do i replace the old speakers?

i took the tip you all gave me to look in the trunk.i had done that before, but now i looked closer and
experiment a bit more and found out how to remove the old speakers.they are easily accessible from
the trunk.the one on the driver side is trickier cause there is an amp. mounted right under it which has
to be removed first to get to the speaker.they are held up (speakers) by plastic pins and anchors not
bolts and nuts.grip the head of the pin with pliers and gently pull straight down till the pin comes down
enough to release the anchor and they come out of the hole.for the amp. take only the 2 screws in the
front off and loosen the 2 in the back and it slides out;I also removed 2 screws in the side of bracket of
the amp.so i could move it a bit for more room to work on.when putting in the pins and anchors back pull
pin all the way back in the anchor, pinch it and insert it in the hole as far as possible then push the pin
up to lock in place.I used the back of a socket wrench with a rubber handle to push the pins up into
place it worked like a dream.
