Question about 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT
If you remove the top radiator brackets and puch the radiator forward, you can get enough room to get the alternator out. The only other thing you have to do is remove the two bolts for the bracket on the block and remove the cast bracket to give you enough room to turn the alternator up to get it out. I have done this, and saved myself tons of time. Good Luck

The only way to really remove it is to take it out from the bottom, but get ready for a project. The only way to take it out of the bottom is to take the drive axle out, luckily you do not have to take it out of the transmission though. Good luck
