Question about 1993 Buick Skylark
I think I know how to change but any info will help
To r/r the whole switch, first if you have an air bag, you need to disable the system. disconnect the battery of course, Then remove steering wheel/ air bag.so if you have the sir parts you will have to remove the snapring and remove the coil harness stuff out of the way so you can remove the wavy type washer. I think you then have to compress the lock plate on the shaft to remove the snap ring, get the retaining ring out of there, the lock plate, and then the turn signal stuff and the spring as well. try to keep the turn signal in the off position when you remove it, & unhook your cruise control wiring. then you can pull lever out and remove the hazard knob. I assume you have tilt, so you would have to unscrew it as well. you mightr have to remove the washer stuff. you should be able to get the signal out of there after you unhook its wiring plug. Now you can get the switch out/& the buzzer thing. to getthe lock out you have to put the key in the lock position & remove the screw/ cyl assy. Rick
