Question about 2006 Chrysler Town & Country
Gas cap light comes on oddemeter, I had van inspected a month ago, I left garage and light came on. I went back to garage this week suggested I purchase a new gas cap maybe gasket was worn, Light is still on. What should I do next? Help! It has 26,00 miles on it right now.

Did your mechanic use a DRB III or equivalent scanner before performing the bleeding procedure after installing the master cylinder? This is a requirement by the manufacturer (Chrysler) when bleeding the brake system.

It sounds like a sensor is intermittantly loosing the data stream. Since the engine light came on, I would go to a reputable shop and have them check for codes. Many auto parts stores will do this as well and sometimes for free. Can't beet free. If I were to guess I would say something like the camshaft postion sensor is going bad, Or the crankshaft postion sensor, Or something like that. The code will tell which one it is.
