Question about 2004 Audi A4
Engine runs rough in park when i have it in drive at idle it stops misfiring if its in park and not running rough if i raise idle above 2000 rpm and let it idle it starts running rough p0171 but cant find any vaccum leaks fuel trim is at +25% also have p0301 p0302 p0303 p0304 its also setting a code for the turbo diverter valve any help? email me firstname.lastname@example.org i put on new dealer plugs new ngk v power plugs and new fuel injectors and still runs the same

po301 thru po306 all misfire codes cylinder 1-6 remove plugs and replace them..... set the plug gap first
i suggest u replace the wires also if they never been replaced all these misfire codes can set the others and one is for the oxygen sensor ( 02s or HO2S) CIRCUT MALFUNCTION do u know how to check wireing systems
do the tune up plugs (set gap) .052-.056 change the fuel filter also. clear the codes hows it run
this info is for 98 E-250 4.2Litre
what engine do u have 4.2L or 4.6L i know it is a v-6 by the codes

All of that going on all at the same time is not likely at all. Are you sure the engine is actually overheating or is that just what your instrument panel is telling you?
With all of those things going on at the same time, here is what I would do. First I would take a REAL HARD look at the charging system. Goofy stuff like this is often caused by a battery with a shorted cell or an alternator with bad diodes that is feeding AC current into the computer network. The computers tend to do really goofy things when they are suffering from malnutrition.
Once I am satisfied that the charging system is in good condition, then I would clear the codes and go on a road test. If the check engine light comes back on, I would immediately scan the engine controller to find out which of the codes came back and fix it FIRST. Many times, fixing one code can fix ALL the codes. By doing it this way, you are more likely to find which one is your MAIN problem.
If your engine is actually overheating, all I can say is you need to diagnose your engine cooling system to find out why...all of the misfire codes could very likely be a result of the engine overheating and fixing the engine cooling system will most likely fix these codes.
