Question about 2002 Hyundai Accent
Lift the rear seat and the housing unit is underneath the rear passenger seat. U will have to take out the housin unit in order to get the fuel pump out. Don't forget to replace the fuel filter first which is located right next to the housing unit. (Fuel filter first, then pump) You do not have to take the fuel tank out since the housing unit is taken out from the underneath the passenger seat.

Most fuel pumps now are in the gas tank itself.
A chilton manual for the autoparts store will show you the easiest way to do it. The book runs about $20.
You have have to remove the tank itself to do it, or there maybe a access panel inside the car underneath the carpet.
Best to get the book to find out what's the easiest and safest way.
