Can anyone tell me how to go about replaceing the complete fuel line?
Also, about how long it should take.

Bob go to a ford dealer and get a farctory gas line DO not take short cuts on this .ive seen many of them burn

On your 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis 4.6L SFI , the Fuel Filter is located: Under vehicle, passenger side, below seating area, passenger side of fuel tank, mounted on frame in fuel line
it is attached to the frame near the rear passenger side door by a hose clamp, so you need a screwdriver to loosen the clamp, and pliers to remove the lines.
