Temp gauge wont work

On my 1988 acura legend the cooling fans come on but i can figure out why the temperature gauge wont work. help please!

Look for the wire that is on your exauhst that is where the sensor is! it shouldnt be very hard to replace it yourself.

Radiator fans will not cut on and cool the engine

check fuses and relay for the fan . Replace the coolant temperature sensor ( not the temperature gauge sender unit)

Try first by replacing the cooling fan engine temp sensor switch, as this may be the cause.

1993 Acura Legend cooling fan relay was replaced and I dont know if it works. I can run hot wire from battery and the fan will come on.

fan should come on at 210 degrees or when a/c is turned on. if it comes on w/a/c and not with temp
replace temperature sensor.
