Replace the sparkplugs. To get to the spark plugs, you will need to remove the engine cover aswell as a number of parts. If you follow the thick black rubber tubes goinginto your engine and the spark plugs, you will see what needs to be removed. Toremove them, you will need to remove a number of screws and components of themanifold. There are about 20 screws and bolts that need to be removed. You willalso need to remove the EGR tube, the intake plenum, the vacuum line, theground wire and the throttle cable. Consult a repair diagram for your exactmodel if necessary as it varies according to the specific year of the vehicle.Once thesecomponents have been removed, you will see two rows of three black rubber sparkplug boots. Start at the end of each row of spark plug wires and pull each oneout, gripping the wire as close to the engine as possible. Once you have theboots off, use your spark plug wrench with extension to remove each spark plug.Simply slide the wrench over each one and loosen it until it can be easilyremoved.Using your hands, insert each of the new spark plugs into their place and tighten. Use the wrenchto finish tightening each one until they are snugly in place.

I have mitsubishi montero 2001,the problem is that its started shacking I mean the whole engine.

This usually means that there is a misfire that could be many things. Try replacing the spark plugs first. Then if the motor mounts are weak or worn out the shaking will be more noticeable. Recommend you replace the worn motor mounts.

I need to change my spark plugs on a 04' Mitsubishi Montero Sport V6. I need to know which bolts to take off of the intake manifold to replace the spark plugs

If you'll need to remove the intake (or plenum) from the engine there are @ 8-10 No. 12 nuts and or bolts which hold this in place. There are also 1-2 bracket (check by the firewall) you'll need to unbolt too. Be certain to replace the gasket that is found between the plenum and the intake and do not over tighten these nut/bolts only 20ft pounds or so. If you do remove this you'll have to remove the air inlet, throttle cables and remove hoses from the throttle body, some of which carry coolant to properlly preheat the air before enteringthe engine. I have worked on several early 89-93 Monteros without having to remove this for plugs; perhaps different under the hood of the sport.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom

Most likely you have a misfire, I'd be surprised if it didnt turn on the check engine light. It may be a coil or sparkplg problem.
Do this this. With your foot on the brake hard and the ebrake on put the car in gear and rev the car up a bit. What your doing is putting a load on the engine to see if it shutters. If it does it points to a coil issue usually or it just may be time plugs and wires
