My 2007 Pontiac G5 has recently began doing this. My bumper-to-bumper warranty just expired about 400 miles ago. Is this something expensive to repair i.e. struts/sway bar? I am wondering if I should try and get an extended warranty before taking it in for service.

I just replaced the lower balljoints for a customer of mine ,and the tie rod ends but check the sway bar joints ,it is the most common problem.

You need to get the front end checked. it sounds like a suspension problem possibly your struts or sway bar but it could be a more serious problem. hope this helps

Loud clunking noise from yoyager when on full lock

Loud clunking noise WHERE in the Voyager when WHAT is "on full lock"? It might help to be a little more descriptive.

Knowing Chrysler minivans the way I do, I would assume that you are chasing noises in the front steering and suspension. Those are notorious for all kinds of noise in the front suspension. You need to check the stabilizer links, the stabilizer frame bushings and the upper strut bearings - these are the most common "noise-makers".

If it is making the noise when you have the wheels turned hard to one side and accelerating, then it is most likely a bad CV joint.
