Engine oil light comes on ..plenty of oil in engine

If it has a new oil filter and stays on when the engine is reved then the oil pump is worn or the pump pickup screen is clogged.

Oil light staying on. There is plenty of oil in the motor. Removed the oil pressure switch and no oil came out of the motor.

Don't start the engine any more, we know it's not getting oil up there, will cause major engine damage, replace oil pump and pick up screen.

No oil pressure. Oil light stayed on longer and longer after starting engine each time until it finally just stayed on. Engine has plenty of oil and new filter.

try replacing the oil sending unit,it is what tells the oil pressure,it just screws in the engine, about $15.00

The oil light stays on but it has plenty of oil in it.

there is no fuse for that, your problem is low oil pressure or bad sender, if you want the light off disconnect it from the sender unit....GL
