Question about 1995 Jeep Cherokee
I have a 1995 Jeep Cherekee with a 4.0 L engine. It will not start. I got the trouble code by turning the key on and off as described on your site. The code appears to be 55 but I can't find where to get the code meaning. Can you help me?
Code 55 is the "goodbye" code. If no codes were in front of it, there is nothing logged into the computer memory There are things that can cuase an no start condition that are outside of the computers ability to check.
Exactly what are you seeing when checking the problem? Include tests you have done, what happened before it stopped, and what you are not seeing as well(spark, fuel etc)
