Question about 2001 Pontiac Sunfire
The driver side fog lamp got hot and melted the housing, broke the bulb. Now the headlights will not switch to bright but work on dim. The dash light will show bright lights are on as long as the switch is being pulled in. As soon as it is released the indicator for brights goes off. The fuses and Circuit breaker indicate good.
You need to replace the melted housing ... you can pick them up from local junkyard for pennie on the dollar. if this is helpful please rate
