If you can't find a good fix, or if it is too expensive, you might try the only truly wireless after-market backup camera: QuickVu(TM) Wireless Backup Camera. Buy direct from the manufacturer!

it has to do with your air ride suspension best bet is take it to the dealer there is probably a problem with a level sensor. hope this helps you

Sounds like a sprocket in my 2008 Yukon denali striped out. Goes in reverse but not forward

Could be a valve body problem, a shift solenoid problem or the transmission control module causing this.

Backup camera does not show any display. the warning light comes on but but the screen is black.

The camera at the rear end is not feeding video back to your screen or the screen is dead.

The backup camera monitor on my 2008 Yukon XL is cloudy.

Moisture and weather is a killer? try cleaning the eye with a Q tip if not it means that the eye is to far out of the resolutions from the weather exposure. Che the dealer for an advice.

I found this URL on the internet http://www.chefseattle.com/blog/site-news/suburban-rear-liftgate-wont-unlock-how-to-fix/ that might fix your problem. Also consider doing my fix rear wiper how to tip for 2005 Tahoe before that fails, while panels are removed.
