Either is antifreeze or is the oil light.
cooling tank is in the front of the car. look for a fan, the cooling tank is infront of the fan. open the cap (make sure the car is cold). and see if there is water or antofreez in it. add as you needed. also follow a tube from the side of the filler neck. you should see a container, that should be a over flow container. fill that to the line on the container. close the cap. and make a 90 degree turn. it should be tight.
the oil is on the button of the engine. you should see a dip stick with a color handle near the engine. pull it out and use a paper towel clean it, put it back and pull it out again. take a look at the tip of the stick. there should a marking indicating where the oil should be. half qt of oil if dip stick shows half way between the mark, and full qt if the dip stick indicated below the marker. fill the engine (filler is on top of the engine.) with oil.

How many gallons of antifreeze should I put on my new replaced radiator for my 1999 BMW 5281 2.8L EFI DOHC 6 CYL

Look up in the owners manual your liquid capacity. And at the most use only 1/2 water to to antifreeze,. Or most auto stores sell a 50/50 pre-mixed antifreeze. 2 gal. should do you.

Where do antifreeze go in an 2004 ford freestar

pop the hood, there should be a light yellow partially see through tank that holds either green or orange (probably green in the case of a minivan) liquid that might say coolant on it. coolant and antifreeze are the same but make sure not to put orange in a green tank/green in an orange tank. also check what mix of antifreeze and water is best for your car. they sell it in 50/50 mixes which is common. BUT!! biggest thing is to check which color antifreeze/coolant your car takes and match it.

Antifreeze Leak - '99 Chrysler 300M

what you do is go to a radiator specialist shop and have a coolant pressure test done
most probably a cracked top plastic tank
as for the leak at the back , it could be a rusty welsh plug but the pressure test will also show that

When topping up my mini cooper do i put anti freeze in the radiator or just water and then top the expansion tank with anti freeze

For a little top up simply use antifreeze.

If you need to do a coolant bleed and refill, then depends on the antifreeze you are using. Most products require filling the coolant tank with water and then topping up with 50% antifreeze. Use distilled water. Tap water is mineral and helps corrosion.

I put some gas station antifreeze in my car and it started overheating so i think since its a bmw it may take a special kind of antifreeze i was curious if it did.

On some of the bmw models, there is a valve ,at the top, near the front of the motor,to bleed all the air out of the cooling system. If you have changed the coolant and not bled all the air out,it will overheat. You don't say what model it is but the valve is easy to see,and easy to use.Just follow the radiator hoses.Hope this helps.(there is no special antifreeze)

I put washer fluid in the wrong place. not the one with the orange liquid, but the one beside it. just about 1/4 cup or so

If you placed the washer fluid on the radiator expansion tank instead of the washer fluid tank, and it was only a small amount of a 1/4 cup as stated, don't worry about. It will not harm anything.
If you still want to remove the contents from the tank, you can use a turkey baster to pull the liquid out, then be sure to add antifreeze coolant to fill it back up to the proper level.

I Green liquid under the car... ;(

That would be your antifreeze. You most likely have a leaky hose. If you have any hard, brittle, or spongy hoses, they will need to be replaced. If not leaking from hose, check radiator and water pump. Also heater core nozzles
