Is your line 5/16 or 3/8 dia. use small dia. tubing cutter. ( 10.00 15.00 at parts store ) cut your line
cut again to get rid of the cause of the leak. while at parts store also buy a compression fitting same size as lines. it will be comp union 2 ferrules two compression nuts put you nuts on the line first then you ferrules then insert your union in the middle of the two open ends then tighten the two compression nuts same time opposite directions

Why trans fluid coming out of trans vent tube 1994 ford explorer

Two things cause this. One being over filled. Second would be the transmission is getting too hot. I recommend that you put an external cooler on the transmission lines. Bypass the radiator.

97 ford windstar leaking transmission fluid

Possible leaks are 1. Transmission belly Pan gasket 2. Front pump/torque converter seal. 3. Transmission fluid cooler lines 4. Axle seals at right and left half shafts.

I have a 1994 jeep cherokee sport. The radiator leaks at the plug where the fill tube is. Can that plug be removed and glued back in place?

not sure if it is designed to come out or not, but if it is leaking then i would try anyway.
a radiator leak can go from minor to major at any time as i have found out to my cost and should be repaired as soon as possible.

if it can be removed and reglued so it does not leak then it has to be cheaper than replacing the radiator and must be worth a try

Drain plug for what? Radiator? Engine? Transmission? Power Steering?

Trans fluid leaking from radiator from metal lines

if you have trans fluid leaking from the radator I would check the line connections if not leaking from there than you will need a new radator or have it recondtioned.

Vacuum leak in dash- 97 areostar..

The leak is from the Vacuum Motors on the Air Distribution Box for the Climate Control system. Please go back to your transmission and check it for Trans Fluid in the Vacuum line going to the Trans Vacuum Module. The Module will be on passenger's side of trans near the Trans Pan, there may be a shield covering it. Pull the line off the module & see if fluid comes out

1998 Ford Club xlt, tranny fluid leak in the coolant.

The lines for the transmission cooler run to the reservoir on one side of the radiator, correct? You may have gotten a bad radiator and the trans cooler is allowing the fluids to mix.
