Sometimes the sensor will get cracked inside and saturated with fluid. The fluid level sensor is usually not hard to find (follow where the wires are hooked up). The best solution is to replace the sensor. Take a look at the wires and look to make sure nothing is caught on anything or pinched somewhere also.

Windshield light wont go out

If you have fluid and the light stays on, your sensor is bad. you can jump the ensor with a apper clip and that should make tyhe light go out, and it will confirm a bad sensor.

What does "low wash" mean on a 2007 dodge ram?

This indicates that your windshield washer fluid level is low. It's like the low fuel light, it gives you times to get some before you run out. If you check the washer fluid level and it is not low then the sensor is faulty.

best wishes

Windshield washer jets on my 92 Honda accord do not shoot windshield fluid out.

I would check the supply hoses to hood. I would also check the washer pump in the washer fluid bottle.

Hi, The windshield washer on my 1992 Honda Accord quit spraying. What are the steps I take to isolate the problem, please? Thanks, Bill

firstly check that the washer motor is operating, if thats ok, disconnect the hose from one of the washer jets and operate the motr, if fluid sprays from the pipe its the jets blocked, if no fluid when motor operated, take washer bottle out and remove pump, you will probably find the filter on the pump inlet blocked, clean and reassemble

My 1998 Honda Accord EX windshield wiper fluid pump and intermittent wiper mode doesn?t work. The wiper switch, the fluid pump motor, and fuses are ok. Could it be a fault in the ?drivers multiplex control...

You could have debirs in the pump or in the line. some units have screens that can get clogged up. Do make sure fuse is in place and tight. There may also be a relay that could be loose or faulty. You can check with an ohmmeter.

My windshield wipers work but I cant squirt windshield cleaner

it's likely the tiny motor/pump located at the bottom of the tank that has failed. to confirm this have some turn on the washer fluid switch and test for voltage at the pump. there are several aftermarket pumps you can use as a replacement.
