the codes refer to system too lean and it is reasonable to think vacuum leaks
the causes listed for the lean burn are
intake / exhaust leak--AIR system---MAF/VAF sensors--fuel pressures / pump---injector/s ---HO2S ( heated oxygen sensor in the exhaust manifold before the cat converter
as the HO2Sv is the principle reader of the exhaust gas composition and reports to the ECM to adjust the air /fuel ratio, that sensor for both banks would be a good place to first check
fuel pressures can be from an EVAP system not venting the tank and making the pump inefficient
If you have no symptoms and the engine appears to running right , the HO2S sensors are the most likely point for the codes
Do you smell antifreeze in the interior? It may be a leak in the heater core system. Does the engine run rough? Then it is a head gasket, if so, you should see more white exhaust than usual.
try this ?= renew the throttle fly by wire control inside the the car ,they go just like the way you describe ,car runs then just stops ,leave and it goes again ,trust me been their got the teashirt on this one ,some customer paid out over 2000 euros to a renault garage for the same fault and it was still the same till a little bird told me what to change ,with one from the scrappers it been ok ever since
jack up the car and look at the exhaust system..If you cant see or feel any holes or leaks then it could be up on the exhaust manifold..a peugot should not sound like a V8 diesel. you really shouldnt be able to tell its diesel until you floor it
hello most of the time you have a emission decal mounted on inside hood or radiator top support as far as o2s start looking from where exhaust mounts to motor follow back exhaust till you see a piece similiar to a sparkplug with 2 -4 wires attached usually in line near convertor you will need a special socket to remove these most part stores carry spray area with pentrating oil the last thing you want to do is force these vout dry and if there rusted theres chances of strip threads when installing start new one at least a turn or two by hand then use socket to prevent crossthreading goodluck
