Debra... i can understand your frustration and all i can offer is advice not really a solution. first save all your bills in case there is a recall. second and i'm not sure if that vehicle is still under any kind of warrenty... demand that the area rep be involved. (the area rep is basically a representitive of the car company). i did look up the recalls just to see if that was involved... and also the TSB's (technical service bulletins) for that vehicle and there is no mention of glass.

check this website frequently to see if there has been any recalls for your jeep. also you may wish to file a complaint about the issue.... enough people complain the more likely a recall will happen.

Please take a moment and rate this... thanks

Okay, so this morning my car window fell inside the door...I pushed the power window button and even though it makes some noice and tries to move the window thats basically all it does...what can it...

You have a very & all way too common problem,
that seens to be an almost epedemic on Ford

The Window Regulator or Cable has broken
You have to remove the inner door panel to replace it

It will be avail at the dealers parts counter

All vehicles made in the last 10 years or so have gone
to a cable, that does not last & while they fail way too
often, you almost need a spare in the trunk, if you own a ford

Just the same as you need a cheap code reader & at least one
new ignition coil, as they fail about 2 a year on all fords
since 1998

My front passenger window just falls down inside the door and the switch doesn't have any effect what do i do to fix it?

It sounds like your window regulator failed.
Its a remove and replace type of repair, but getting door panels off and regualtors pulled can be a wrestling match

My window fell off it's roller, how do I fix it?

You can put it back together, but in my experience, replacing the window regulator is better than trying to use the old parts, which may be damaged to the point of allowing the glass to fall.

Even a used window regulator from a salvage yard would work better than one that has failed before.

I had a body shop do it, you can probably do it yourself with practice. But, if you want it done reliably, have the body shop do it.

Probably an hour or two of labor.

Window fell into the door

These cars have a window regulator that is made with a cable and a plastic wheel that the cable rolls around. Once it wears out you need to replace the whole regulator, it comes with new motor. Look on ebay, cheapest way to buy a new one. You can take off door panel and push window back up and wedge or vise grip so it wont fall back down.

Window fell

This is likely to need a new window mecanism, the plastic parts inside break. take to your nearest decent mechanic and all will be well.

Driver window

depends upon what type of window you have. The manual window regulator is fairly simple to fix. it wont take you more than 30 minutes to tak the panel off and put it on if you know what you're doing. The automatic will be a bit trickier. And yes, it happens often to first generation accents.
Next time it happens, search a local junkyard. i pulled mine off of a rear ended accent, and it only costed 15 dollars.
