I just bought a 2005 Altima 3.5 SE and while driving, my stereo shut off. I checked my fuses and they are all fine. It looks like my stereo and mirrors are on the same fuse and my mirrors still work. This is the 6 dics BOSE system. Can anyone help???? K

I just pulled the radio out and didn't see any fuses (we even opened up the box). The wires all apperaed to be in good shape. Any other ideas? I might try to hook it up to a volt meter.

The problem is probably behing the radio if you take out the radio with a screwdriver behind it the should be a fuse that the one you should change if its not that it is an electronic problem and you should take it back to the dealers

the reason there were no fuses is because i was thinking of a different radio type the problem is just that your radio is broken .

if u live in ireland you could buy one in halfords but if you live in the united states then you would know were to buy one

I have a Nisan Altima 2005, 2.5 SE. The speedometer and ODO does not work anymore, whereas the RPM, fuel and temperature gauge all are working fine. Is this a fuse problem ?

No , it's not a fuse . VSS - vehicle speed sensor or PCM - engine computer . Your best bet mite be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop an have a diagnostic scan done - check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's .

My Altima SE R will not run. I replaced the fuel pump, but we are learning that there is no pulsation to the fuel injectors. We checked out the immobilizer and its fine, all the cam sensors are fine, the...

First guess is anti theft.
Leave key on for half an hour and/or lock unlock doors with remote.
Does the tack on the dash show rpm when cranking the engine? If it does you should have a injector pulse using a noid light.
If you have rpm showing and no injector pulse try borrowing a computer from a vehicle like yours.
No RPM showing when cranking?
Check/change crank and cam sensors and possibly computer.
Cam timing can cause no start but you should have an injector pulse even with a jumped tooth or two on the timing chain.

1996 Mazda B4000 SE 4WD: Wipers and radio don't work in cold temp

weird one this but not uncommon ,radio supply from ignition circuit and the wipers must be coming into fuse board down same wire ,look under bonnet around the battery area for some big fuses ,remove these one at a time to find the fuse controlling these items then replace the fuse and make sure the wiring to the fuse holder is clean and free from corrosion

Replace 2005 Nissan altima stereo receiver

Try radio shack, or stereo sales/installation place for ready to go plug adapter. For a few bucks, it saves headaches, and butchering the wiring in case you want to re-install old one later when trading in or selling the car.
