Question about Chevrolet Cars & Trucks
I lost my keyless remote to my 2003 chevy mini van to unlock my door. When I use my duplicate key to open my door the alarm goes off. I bought another keyless remote for the key that I have to use for my van. I went to the GMC dealer to get the keyless remote re-program and the dealer can not re-program the keyless remote. They tried everything to get the keyless program and nothing seem to work. The alarm constantly goes off when I open the door and also when I insert it into the ignition. What can be the problem that they cannot program the keyless remote? I been at this dealer for 3 days and they said that I would have to replace the Body Control Modular (BCM). This is costly.
I biught a new Audi key fob and followed the directions to reprogram it but when I initially put in the first key and turn the ignition there is no problem. However when I press the new spare key button to set it it is supposed to hoot the horn but instead it causes the alarm light to flash i.e. the emergency flashers come on instead of the horn hooting.
I am also stuck
Please can some eone suggest a solution?

SOURCE: Audi A4 2003 Alarm Problem
There is a few things to do check the door switches that control dome lights, check wire down by the skid plate when you get oil changed there is a sensor for the starter there if it is stolen the alarm will go off or just take a BAT and BEAT the living **** out of your horn and call it good like I am going to. I hope this helped or will help I recommend an aluminum bat vrs. wood
