Won't Start when hot, sometimes.

I have a 1999 Daewoo Nubira and it has a problem of not starting when it is hot, it doesn't do this all the time though, sometimes it will start when hot, there doesn't seem to be any pattern to when it starts or not. It will start after trying a few times. It also runs really rough when accelerating or just driving normally. We have changed the coil(?) when a mecanic told us that is what he thought the problem was and that didn't help at all. We have also changed the spark plugs and leads. I also heard a bubbling noise coming from the fuel tank when trying to get it started, I have only heard this noise on the one day though and haven't heard it since. Hope that someone is able to help. Thanks.

The fuel pump is located in the tank. The fuel pump has a strainer on the pump. The strainer maybe clogged. on some units the strainer can be replaced instead of the whole pump unit. I dont recommend since servicing the pump requires opening the tank and this can be very dangerous. Static discharge has know to blow the tanks up without proper grounding. Also fumes have been known to ignite from home utilities such as a hot water heater. If you want to perform this please respond. I have performed this on several different vehicles
