Question about 1995 Honda Accord
My engine light turns on and off. it usually takes fifteen to thirty minutes for it to turn on but at times it can turn on as soon as i turn on the car. I have gone to some mechanics and i have been told they cant find out the problem because the light doesn't stay on. What should i do?
With the check engine light it's usually a drivabilty issue, most often times related to the fuel lean or rich problem.often times the check engine light is also used to warn you that your oil level or coolant level is low. If you have already have taken it to a shop and they have reset the fault codes and all the sensors associated with drivabilty have checked out to be in proper working function chances are that your problem is the ecm( engine control module) this is the main computer of the vehicle and considering the age of your vehicle it's most likely that over time the computer no longer is functionin g due to the heat/ cold it has endured. this happens alot to all models of cars and trucks. the cost of replacement is minimal.
