2003 Chevy Trailblazer - Rear Heat/AC Controls Don't Work

I have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer and the rear fan control switch (NOT the one next to the driver's leg) for the rear of the vehicle does not work. I changed the blower motor resistor in the front and got the fan speeds to work for the front dial but the rear dial still does not work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I DO set the front dial (next to the driver's leg) to allow the rear controls to work.

It is the rear heat module that needs to be replaced. I know where it is but cannot seem to get instruction on how to put it in.

No air in front but i have air in rear is there a belt in front ??

Can you hear the front ac/heater fan? They use the same AC compressor so that should be okay. The fan switches fail quite often on those. That controls how much air is pushed by the fan for AC, heat and defrost. The switch is attached to the fan knob on the dash.

If you have automatic climate control, replace your blower control module, behind the glovebox.
If it's manual, replace blower motor resistor assembly, same location.

2003 Chevy trailblazer, the 4 front dash air

{: ) Check first the fuse labeled HVAC1 10A at the rear fuseblock. If okay, the mode actuator could be faulty. You can try this: turn ignition switch and a/c off for a minute. Then turn ignition on, wait forty seconds. Afterwards, start the engine, and check your a/c again.

Bad Clutch Fan? Rear ac/heat don't work front only works on 4

The fan clutch isnt engaged at all times, therefore it may be normal to hold it in place (not recommended). On these trailblazer's 4.2L engine the fan clutch is electronically controlled. Usually when this vehicle's fan clutch malfunctions, there is a random ticking noise while idling or at a stop, also the "service engine soon" may turn on. As for the the fan speed problem, this may be a faulty blower resistor malf (typical) or climate control unit may be faulty. Hopefully this helps!!

2007 Chevy Uplander Rear Overhead A/C Vents Won't Work

Have you checked the Aux switch near the bottom of the center control console.
There should be a knob with: Aux, Off, 1, 2, 3. This is the switch for the rear AC blower.
If the driver wants to control the rear AC, use the 1, 2, 3 settings.
If you put it on Aux, Than the rear AC is controlled by the passenger in the back seat using the extra controls located on the Overhead DVD player. (The front AC must be on the rear to work)

Should change drivers front switch. If neither rears work and main switch don operate them then it is the drivers control that is bad.
