when the speakers are equal they sound will cut off, you have to turn it off and turn it back on. Sometimes you have to adjust the settings to make it stay on

My '97 Dodge Caravan dash gauges will quit {sometimes} for no apparent reason.VERY frustrating when trying to watch your speed or trying to remember how much gas you got. Also radio cuts on and off.

A ground wire would be a good place to start. Connectors leaving the dash back towards the fuse panel...wiggle the connectors and see if you can duplicate the problem. If you do, that is where you make the repair.

My 1997 dodge grand caravanshokes really bad when

If it's related only to acceleration I would suspect a broken motor mount. The engine turns the wheels but there is an opposite reaction that tries to turn the engine over. It's held in place by rubber mounts that wear and can break. If the engine moves enough then the drive shafts are out of alignment and they can cause vibration. A bad CV joint can also cause this problem but usually causes different symptoms if you are turning right or left.

2000 Dodge Caravan tranmission started making a clicking sound only in 1st gear. Otherwise drives fine. What could be wrong?

you need to have the CV axle shafts checked, the clicking sound is the first sign of a bad one,you need to turn the steering wheel one way sharp wile accelerating, then the other way,so you can determine if left axle or right.

That should be all you have to do to remove the caliper. 2 bolts. Sometimes you have to separate the pads from the rotor with a little bar or screwdriver to free up the caliper.

Hesitation at 40mph and 50 mph.

A pop and hesitation is likely a backfire. The hesitation around 40 and 50 would be in keeping with that theory. There are several reasons you might be getting backfires and hesitation. If your ECM is adjusting the engine to run too rich this could happen. Misfiring might be occuring. Timing could be out. But one of the most likely is a restricted exhaust, likely due to a plugged, damaged or worn out catalytic converter. In some cases the converter may be bad enough to be giving you some performance problems, but not yet quite bad enough to signal an error. A vacuum test can help confirm whether this is exhaust related.
