1 Answer

Problem with Lexus RX30 Programmable push button garage door opener in visor. One of the buttons on the visor, when pushed, goes all the way in, stays all the way in, won't come out, and does not make contact with push switch inside that should operate garage door. How can I fix or replace it?.

THERE S NO WAY OTHER THAN TO OPEN THE OUTER COVER TO PROBE AND RELEASE THE BUTTON.... THERE MIGHT BE SOME SHORT... WHERE THE INTERIOR ELECTRONICS MIGHT HAVE GONE BUST... UNLESS U OPEN IT U REALLY CANT BE SURE...
IF IT HAS BE REPLACED.... IF SOMETHING IS WRONG INSIDE I WUDNT ADVICE U TO REPAIR IT AS U CAN GET A NEW ONE IN LESS THAN 15 $
CHECK OUT THE FOLLOWING LINK WHERE U CAN GET THE GARAGE DOOR OPENER
http://www.garagedooropeners.com/

http://www.aaaremotes.com/digicode1.html

AS FOR AS THE PROCEDURE TO PROGRAM THE GARAGE BUTTON HERE GOES
Delete the codes in the homelink then try this. (To delete, hold down the first and third buttons at the same time, hold for about 30-60 seconds till the light blinks really fast. Release and check if deleted if the light blinks at a slow but steady pace. That means there's nothing stored on that button)

Hold down the garage door button and the homelink button u want programmed. Once the light changes from a slow blinking light to a rapid blinking light, release both buttons. Then go to the garage door openner and (this is different for all garage door openners) push the "learn" button ONCE. Within 30 secs, press the same button u programmed 3 times, and it should work."

HOPE I WAS HELPFUL THANK YOU HAVE A NICE DAY

Sinc garage door opener with a 2009 Hyundai Sonata

Take your remote and hold it up towards your rear view mirror or your visor whitchever is the one with 3 buttons of your homelink , also make shure that your opener has a program button which come in different colors depending on the year of the machine, if you have a program button on your powerhead of your garage door opener then you can mostlikely program your car to it! The button on garage door opener comes in different colors such as yellow, green ,orange, black, grey and black ! make shure your opener has one of these buttons! Now take your remote and point it within a few inches of your visor/rearview mirror and hold the button down that oppens that door....now press the first button on your car mirror/visor until the door opens up , it take sometimes a few trys but remember to leave your car running while doing this and have it outside the front of your garage door while doing this!

How do i program my garage door to open with my car garage opener button

Push and hold the two outer buttons until the LED flashes fast Approx (15 seconds) then hold your garage opener up to the mirror or visor and push and hold any button 3 or 4 seconds on the opener Now the Home Link is programed. With the car safely away from the closing garage door find and push the garage openers red programming button (on the motor assembly somewhere that gives you about 30 seconds to push your cars home link button so the garage opener learns the button you want to use for that door the other two buttons can be programed for other doors or house light controler gate opener in the same manner

I need instructions on how to program the garage door opener on the visor of a 2002 Lincoln LS V8

This should be done by pushing the button on the garage door motor as you would program an opener, push the program button then push and hold the button on the visor for a few seconds then release, push again and door opener should operate.

Programing garage door opener

You push the button that has the house design on it. It should change from steady to blinking. When it does you hold the garage door opener next to the blinking light and keep the button pressed on each. When the new code is learned the car button should indicate it learned the new code.

The you just press the button on the visor to see if it will work.

3 buttons on the underside of my 2001 sebring visor

Those are HomeLink buttons. You can program them to work in place of a garage door opener or other infrared device like that. Just pick one, hold it down, press the garage door opener button while aiming it at the visor, and then release the buttons. That allows you to use the visor button instead of a door opener.

How do I program the garage door opener on the sun visor?

Directions are in your owners manual. Most are done by holding down the sun visors button until it flashes, then hold your opener next to the visor and push your openers button.

Need to program/link garage door opener with the one on the visor in the car

Depending on the name brand of the garage door opener, there is a button on it you press and you have about 30 seconds to set the button in the car to the signal. Read you car manual on how to set the visor opener, probably press and hold the button in after pressing the button on the garage door opener motor. Get someone to help you in the garage on a ladder. Mine is a Sears and this is how it works.
