Question about 1999 GMC Jimmy
Check the water temp sensor. The temp sensor sends a signal to the computer to go rich on fuel when the vehicle is started with a cold engine. When the engine is warm the sensor tells the computer to go lean on fuel. If your senor has failed in the lean mode, as mine did, the vehicle won't start when the engine is cold. Once you get it started it will continue to start as long as the engine stays warm. Hope that helps.
