Question about Honda Civic
I have an 01 civic Lx. an my wires by my dash are smoking. i had the light switch/washer relpaced becasue the recall. now the wires that conect to the switch are getting hot an some smoke is coming form some where in there.. any ideas?
Take the car back to the same dealer u had the recall done...the combo light switch recall doesnt only include replaceing the light switch but also requires a technician to inspect and replace a certain wire and terminal, and the connector if it shows signs of melting or damage. sometimes a tech can see the damage so they just put the switch on only ...have them double check it...i bet the wire is burnt and the connector is melted.
