Question about 1992 Chevrolet S-10

No fuel coming from injectors

92 s10 pickup 2.8 TBI system, have fuel coming out of fuel line to carb. but nothing out of the injectors. fuses are good. I did install a new dist. and noticed that the new dist had a wire coming from the top part that I dont know were it plugs into, the modual is plugged in. I'm thinking that possibly that two prong plug is my issue but dont have the slightest were it would go. since I came into it with the system tore apart

If you have a noid light put it on the injector wires to see if you have an injector pulse while cranking. It sounds like you don't and i have a feeling the extra wire from the distributor is the reason. It might be the rpm signal to the ecm. If you can find the other end of that plug i think it might solve your problem.

92 s10 pickup 4.3 replaced the fuel pump, filter, relay, ignition control module, rebuilt the tbi system twice, and new plugs and wires it will crank over but won't start wat could be the cause of it

Did you troubleshoot before starting to replace everything? Was it really not getting fuel or spark? How about now, is it getting fuel and spark? How is the compression? Is the timing correct? You've stated everything you replaced, but have said nothing about what you've found while troubleshooting.

1988 2.5E s10 no fuel

you mean, cranks ok, but will not start and no fuel , right>?
s10 no fuel. 1988 ( S10 blazer )
please do say , what that means.
1: car cranks and will not start. so must be out of fuel?
(over 50 causes, or better is 10 or less tests (ask)
2: same, and fuel pressure is 0 psi (spec.9-13). gauged.?
3: fuel dribble test?
4: sparks good so tired test fuel and it ran on test fuel ok? proving
loss of fueling>?
5: injector dead cranking, (eyeballs)

which was it?

1988 cars in the USA are BIG TIME TRANSITION year.
we went from CARBS to EFI.
2.5L (what is E)?
gear cam, roller HLA lifters.
your car, USA , is TBI engine,
TBI started on THIS car in 1985 (1/2 and 1/2)
Throttle body injection
an on all TBI engines, one can see it inject with eyes.
does it?
if not it can be the following things.
1: no fuel pressure, 9-13pis.
2: ECU is cutting fuel. Pressure good cranking.
2a: ECU is sending error for bad crank/cam sensors, and cuts fuel.
2b: ECU sees rpm or tacho line dead.
2c. ECU sees TPS sensor output as 4v or more cranking, this cuts all fuel.
3: if ECU is happy, it sends 12vcd to the pump, cranking.
all tests must be dont cranking or chase tail.

I HAVE A 1986 NISSAN 720 2WD PICKUP. IT HAS A CARB ON IT , BUT DID IT COME WITH A CARB OR FUEL INJECTION?

Its BOTH, sort of....TBI Throttle Body Injection. If you look into the carb with engine running, you will see the injector spraying fuel onto the butterfly.

1987 chevy s10 fuel injector problem. Install new fuel injector but fuel comes out steady causing engine to idle high and bog down when i step on the gas pedal. i have previously replace swapped ecm and...

Check the fuel pressure at the shredder valve, you should have 13 to 13.5psi, anything other then that will give you problems in the GM TBI. If the pressure is bad, then you may have to replace the fuel pressure regulator at the bottom of the TB.
Good luck and keep me posted.

1987 chevy s10 2.5l tbi will not start. changed bad fuel pump works well now strong pressure to throttle body. change fuel pressure switch, oil pressure switch, o2 sensor, map sensor, distrib cap, rotor,...

That eliminates the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. Have you checked the fuel injector itself for an open winding or stuck valve plunger? There should not be a steady 12 volts to the injector--if good injector, it would be spraying fuel steadily into the throttle body. But at least the engine should try to run if poorly. Take the injector out, dry it off with air, and intermittently apply 12 volts to one terminal while grounding the other. You should hear a click from inside every time you touch 12 volts. If not, replace it. If it does, it may be plugged with debris. Try blowing through it in reverse with compressed air.

FUEL INJECTTORS NOT GETTING FUEL.GOT FUEL ALL THE WAY TO WHERE THE FUEL LINE ENTERS THE T.B.I. BUT NOTHING AFTER THAT.WHATS NEXT?????? PLEASE LET ME KNOW.THANK YOU.

injectors probably gettin fuel just not opening, check your injector a&b fuse and/or your crank fuse in the fuse box,the computer requires a signal from the distributor while engine is crankin to open the injectors.your problem might be the pickup coil inside the distributor
