Please you might need to have a check on your fuses. Some electrical stuffs are switching on and off on its own which means there are some partial contacts.

Do just that.

I'm sure that would be somewhat disconcerting. it's one of the relays clicking. remove the fuse panel cover and put your finger on each relay till you find the one that is clicking.... pull it out and replace it. you'll know you have the right one if the interior lights go off when you pull it out.

Please take a moment to rate this solution ... thanks

You blew a master fuse at the fuse panel under the hood. Some cars also have a main fuse attached to the positive post of the battery. Check both places.

Can you please detail it...

  • Your car probably have an immobiliser kit with the security system
  • This cuts off the engine during a start under the hood
  • This kills the power from the ignition point
  • The keys may be code protected
  • Check whether your security system is still active even if the doors are open!!
  • Try to click the the unlock\ lock button simultaneously, when the doors are open
  • Its better to remove the fuse of the security system and cut it off

Have you checked the fuses? There should be a fuse box under the hood open the box the diagram inside will show what fuse is for the ignition. Pull the fuse and hold up to the light the little wire inside should have no break between the two posts of the fuse. Don't forget to check the fuse panel inside the car also there should be a secondary ignition fuse in that panel also.
