Actually to test you sensor take it out. put in a pan with water on stove turn on med heat as temperature
increase you ohms should change. they are not expensive so i would try replacing the sensor.spend another 20.00 for a haynes manual. might save you a headache.

Vehicle speed sensor. Top of the tranny is a connection. From this, a cable runs to the back of the odometer. Probably need to replace it

Heater gauge not functioning on my dash board.

There are several things that might be going on. The first thing is that you might have a bad coolant temperature sensor. This is the sensor that sends the signal to the gauge. You also might have bad wiring or a loose connector, or it could be a bad gauge. I would check the CTS and its connector first.

The speedometer, odometer, and tac are not working. It has been determined it is not a sensor. All are working behind the scenes but not on the surface. What could possibly be the problem?

i have seen and replaced may accord 94-97 gauge clusters for problems like this. most common is the odometer stops working or works erratically. you should check ebay for a gauge cluster

Temprature gauge goes up and down

sounds like your low on coolant or you have air in the cooling system
water is needed for the sensor to show a true value and if your low or have air you sensor will at times because of the thermostat opening
go up and down. hope that got it
