I understand that the plenium has to be taken off in order to replace the spark plugs on a 2004 Endevor what I'm trying to find out, is there a gasket that needs to be replaced also or does it just bolt back on?

I would never reuse it, but if it is a rubber gasket you can according to the book.

I over heated my engine and it will not crank

cylinders are full of coolant...Hydrolocked, time for intake and plenium gaskets and prob. lower intkes while you are at it. Dorman makes a nice replacement set the intake plenium with gaskets needed to install, make sure you replace the actual plenium., first I would pull all spark plugs and roll enjine over with plugs out to be sure that is problem 99% sure it is....pretty common in 3800's check your oil for antifreeze , if it rolls over and you decide to fix top end, CHANGE YOUR ENGINE OIL AND FILTER too cause antifreeze and engine BEARINGS don't Mix well shortens life of them.

Replace starter 4.6 liter

it is under your plenium (plastic Intake) remove cross bar from shock towers if it has one then remove your engine cover, it just pops off then there is a pcv hose that hooks in the back that has to come out and the throttlebody has to be unbolted off front of plenium, then there are 10mm bolts along the sides of the plenium that have to come out, now injectors I don't remember if I had to ppull them out or not , you will be able to tell once you get to it , some you could just leave in plenium and just rotate plenium off to the side with fuel rail still connected, others you had to release fuel pressure with the schrader valve and then disc fuel line from fuel rail, but anyways when you get the plenium off the starter lay's right there in valley of engine, pay attention to orientation of the wires while starter is in place, you don't want to pull apart again because a wire is grounded out ! then reassembling make sure all the little orange oval gaskets are still good and in place or replace them then reverse the procedure, no rtv is required, these are reusable gaskets unless damaged

Change spark plug wires on 04 kia sedona

REMOVAL OF THE PLUGS:

Do not attempt any maintenance on spark plug if engine is hot.
1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Carefully remove high-tension leads.
3. Use compressed air to blow any dirt or debris from around spark plug hole.
4. Check that spark plug fits squarely in spark plug socket and remove spark plug.

Raise a vehicle and install SST(OK552 131 001) in order to replace cylinder 2, 4, 6 spark plug.

INSTALLATION:

1. Install spark plug into cylinder head.

Tightening torque : 18~22lb-ft (25~30N·m, 2.5~3.0kg-m)

2. Reconnect high-tension leads.
3. Reconnect negative battery cable.

Hope this helps and simple to understand. Good luck
