Question about 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe
Providing your air filter is clean, my guess would be a vacuum leak.With the engine running, pour some soapy water along the intake gaskets and see if it bubbles a lot. Check all vacuum lines by wiggling them when the motor is running, and listen for a hiss.
Check your timing and timing chain.
Faulty ignition coils.
