Question about 1998 Cadillac Seville
I have a cadillac sts seville and the repair shop said i had an oxygen sensor going out or is out. He told me to go and get someone to hook up computer to find out which one to replace. I can't afford to pay someone to just hook up the computer so i was wondering how you can find out which one to replace. My car runs fine with a slight miss when it is idiling but starts to get worse when it warms up. Anything will help thanks David.
There are 3 -o2 sensors, one on the left exhaust bank, one on the right exhaust bank, and one after cat converter. Check for vacumn leak around throttle body , you can use wd 40 and listen for it to idle up higher if there is a leak at manifold area, Real simple to change, one wire connection and socket with ratchet. you can go to autozone and use/ rent there tool to check for codes to find out the sensor and order the part from them. Good luck

In most cases the front o2 sensors fails , there is one on the left and one on the right of the exhaust pipes. It could be one or both of them. Would need to know what the engine code for this or change both of them. Let me know and i can help.
