Wheels Chirping During low speeds I receive a chirping from my front wheels. When I apply the brakes the chirping goes away. However, once the sound goes away when making turns it will begin chirping again. Any thoughts?

Check the brake system such as the break paqds, calipers or rotor. Check that nothing is loose. Also check that the steering is well lubed.

The chriping sound in the 2002-2006 Nissan Sentra models is a transmission problem in the high clutch of the transmission. Nissan said to add an additive, but it was a temporary fix and only a band aid to the problem. My transmission went out at right at 100,000 miles. Chriping in a transmission is NO GOOD.

My car chirps while increasing speed and when I brake my vehicle.

It is possible that the broken tab is your problem because the tabs keep the hardware from moving, especially when you apply the brakes. To determine if this is the case, remove the tire, brake caliper, brake pads, and hardware. Put one of the lug nuts(or two if needed) back on to hold the rotor in place. Spin the rotor by hand and listen for that chirping sound. If you don't hear it, the hardware is the problem. If you can still hear it, check that metal plate that protects the back side of the rotor to make sure its not bent and rubbing against rotor. Also check that nothing is rubbing on the trans-axle(if its front-wheel drive). If all is well in these two places, the only thing left that spins in that area is the wheel bearing. They usually make more of a grinding or roaring sound but sounds can be tricky.. I am a mechanic for a car rental company and often have to diagnose problems by the sound they make. I hope this info is helpful.

Have HZJ75 Trayback 1997 with a loud whistling noise coming from front driver side when vehicle takes off. Lasts about 5-6 seconds of driving and then disappears.

possible that either your brake pads,or shoes are not backing off after they have after they were applied,, after a little ride around stop and feel the front wheels see if both front wheels feels hot or warm,,if 1 is hotter than the other your brake cylinder may be seized,[the hottest 1 will be the problem

Toyota highlander front wheel noise when turning left

Check the brake rotor backing plate to see if it is rubbing against the brake rotor, check the brake pad condition at the same time, it may be the low brake pad sensors that you are hearing.

When I hit the breaks there is sound on the front left wheel

This could be a number of things. If the car and wheels have not been washed in a while, the noise could be from accumulated brake dust. If it is clean, the noise could be from a warped brake rotor that needs to be milled - pretty cheap fix. If that is the case you will feel some vibration when you apply the brakes sharply. It could also be the beginning of the "warning track" sound that brakes make to tell you they need to be replaced. This will be a continual chirping sound that will continue until the brake is replaced and is heard whether the brakes are being applied or not.

Good luck.

Try spinning the rear wheels by hand and see if you can hear the noise, if not it may need to have a load on the wheels indicating a possible bearing, or could be a loose brake pad or backing plate. Also see if anything is touching the drive axels.

This noise is more likely caused by the iiner constant velocity joint. When turning the axle makes a franction of an angle in which no perpendicular to the ground. You'll gonna need to have it check as there is a possiblity that the wheel drum or axle assembly might come off when driving in high speed to avoid accident.

My 97 jeep grand cherokee makes a chirping sound under front

The noise and the light may or may not be related. The noise may be the wear indicator on the brake pads touching the rotor (they are supposed to do that when brakes are worn) The abs light triggers off a wheel on the axle end. If you have a bad joint on the axle, it could be noisy and causing the wheel to not have the proper clearance to the abs sensor. You really need to take the wheel and brake assembly off and carefully inspect everything. Make sure all abs sensor wires are undamaged...it doesn't have to be at the same wheel that's chirping.

Brake problem

it sounds like your disk brakes are the problem. two ways to fix the problem. champfer your brake pads or basically glue your pad to the caliper piston with some stuff called disk brake quiet. the shop probably does not want to take your whole front brake system apart again. good luck.
