I don't know if this works on a Buick but I have had two cars that the auto adjusters worked when you used the parking brake, I rarely use the parking brake so I got in the habit of working the parking brake 20 times or so at oil change time.

The Buick brakes are self adjusting. They adjust every time you apply the brakes. The emergency brake does not do the adjustment on this car. I think you'll find the statement about self-adjusting brakes in the owner's manual. I have a '97 Lesabre, no adjusting.

I just bought a 2002 Buick LeSabre And it's making a grinding knocking noise in the rear right corner where the exhaust is the emergency brake light wont go off and the e-brake is not on!!

Right rear wheel may have worn out or damaged brake pads or rotor...You should be able to spin this wheel freely when off of the ground...if not brake parts, then the wheel bearing is bad...(locking up) Hope this helps.

Should not need to adjust the brake pedal. If it is low or going to floor check for leaks or air in brake lines.could also be that the rear brakes need adjusting.

Rear brakes on a 1999 Lesabre make slight growling noise when brakes are applied . Can the brakes be adjusted?

drum brakes or disc brakes ? if drum brakes. yes but first remove the drums to be sure there is enough shoe left to adjust and to be sure there is no dirt or broken springs back there. if disc brakes no adjustment.
