Question about 1989 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer
I put a starter in,it last about a month , when i first put the starter in it sound smooth. give it a month and it starts grinding now the new one i just put in just spins it`s like it`s not even hitting the teeth any more. could the teeth on the flywheel be to short? or wore down?
Did the original starter have shims? It may need some. Get a delco starter and new bolts. Rebuilt non delco starters give trouble and do not last. Check flywheel teeth.
