Play is really only caused by 2 things , the tie rod ends are loose or worn, the steering rack is coming apart, if this play was not there before the alignment then they may have left the tie rod adjusters loose.

I have a 1997 Ford Expedition XLT 4X4,and was wondering why when i put my steering wheel down lower,my signal lights quit working, what is the cause and how do i fix it ?

This is a pretty common issue especially on fords that the owner uses the tilt steering a lot. What happens is the wires in the connector that goes to the back of the switch pull out of the connector. Usually the locks that hold the pins in plae end up breaking when this happens and even if you push the wires back into place they will not stay. For sells a new connector with wires to correct this problem.

My driver side window on my 1998 Ford Expedition will not go up, but I hear a clicking noise when I press the button. What could this be?

The gears on the window lift motor have stripped out, and the motor and/or gears will need replaced.

Driver power saet in a 2001 ford expedition dont

Either the switch is bad, or the motor athat goes forward and back is bad. A mechanic will need to check it with a diagram to determine which.

Lot of play in sterring wheel

the stearing wheel with a play usually means one thing.. the stearing box..

you can eighter change the seals and stuff in the box,, or change the box all together.. Also the stearing rack could be at fault as well.. same thing applies,, change seals of change rack.. Remove the rack firstmm its the most likey cause.

Possible solution..Expedition uses a vacuum solenoid on the firewall that controls vacuum to the 4-wheel drive actuator. Vacuum "unlocks" the 4-wheel drive, so you may have a leak in the line to the actuator so the 4-wheel drive is always on. Seems backwards, I know.

Need to replace 1997 e350 ford Ignition ,how can i

you dont have to remove the steering wheel on a most Ford car and trucks you insert the key turn to the on position and there is a small pin under the ignition switch that you push and it comes right have to remove the steering wheel cover above and below the ignition switch.
