toyota is supposed to have taken the dashboard off and fixed it.

NOT FIXED. Now they tell me that everything is plastic around the radio. P.S. The radio is bad with static. They say they replaced

it and it is still bad. This is my fourth Toyota. One good car and

three with problems, My present car was because No. 3 was a buyback. No. 3 was new with a lot of problems like rain getting in all 4 doors, a river of rain when the doors were opened, broken windshield glass buried in the driver's seat which I never saw right

away and to this day they would not tell me why there was glass.

plus other things wrong, Thank you. I said no because they do

not listen. They do not tell you about TSBs. The transmission has given me trouble with #3 and 4, and just recently calibrated it

    after all my complaints.

I've had this dashboard rattle on my 2007 camry since it was new, but never heard of a TSB to fix it. Now it's off warranty. Can I fix this myself? (I'm a pretty handy "backyard mechanic!")

There is a TSB for a dashboard rattle for you car that is covered under your 3year 36000 warranty...if that is what you are referring to as a ping.

Engine pings when driving, replaced egr and egr solenoid still pings. driving down the freeway, replaced spark plugs a year ago. engine runs good no miss at idle or above

let me guess....... you are using regular 87 octane gas ? run it down to almost empty and fill it with super and see it it works you probably have about 100,000 miles on it the camshaft, lifters and valve springs, timing chain are all worn

94 Buick Regal 3.8. Pings under load. All

Remove and inspect the spark plugs for heavy deposits or glazed-looking interior insulators. Make sure the plugs are the proper type for this engine. Heavy carbon build-up in the cylinder heads will cause pinging. If the ignition system is too advanced, it will also cause problems. Try a different brand of fuel. High engine temperatures can do the same (caused by poor cooling system or lean fuel/air mixture). If the check engine light is on, take the car to Autozone or a similar business that offers a free scan of the computer. This may provide additional clues. Hope some of this helps!

Crown Victoria Pings

A couple a things to look for one is to low octane fuel try using prem fuel 2 the ignition timing can be to slow or even to fast try fuel first. You can also get an octane booster from most auto parts store
