Question about 1991 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer
I am trying to install my radio in a 92 s15 pickup. I can get it to go on but it wont turn off when i turn the key off
Find a different power supply that works with key going on &off when you turn key on & off . the power wire from old radio should work in this manner unless you did something to it.

There are 2 power feeds to the sterio. One of them keeps power on all the time so the clock will work and such. The other one powers up the amp when accesory switch is on so you can listen to it in acc or when running it. you may have them reversed, or something.

You could be hooking up the main power to a full time hot rather than the radio circuit. Use a test light to find the switchable hot and hook up your power wire to it, then then memory for the radio goes to the full time hot.
