Question about 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera

Stalling I have a 1990 cutlass ciera s 4 cylinder it stalls when i start slowing down from 60 mph and when i hit about 5 mph it dies and takes about 5-6 tries to get it running again how can i fix this? please help me!

Does it also stall when u put it drive to if so it might be ur torque convertor not unlucking u can unplug the wiringplug on the transmission see if that helps

Use a bottle of yellow HEET dry gas to remove any moisture problem in the fuel.

Clean / replace air filter.

1992 olds cutlass supreme wont accelerate when pushing the gas pedal


Check oil first, Low oil sensor will shut down if more than a quart low. Change fuel filter, could be fuel starvation, change the air filter. stopped up air filter will put MAF sensor out of range. PERFORM OBDII SCAN SOON.

Check the prrimary and secondary resistance on your coil. Also check the resistance of the plug wires and plug gap.
