Basic tools will get them off,you will be removong alot of parts, make sure to lay everything out in the order you remove so you can reassemle the in the correct order. You will get to the point where you have to remove the large that holds the rotor to the end of the drive shaft, there is a small key on the inside edge of the nut that has to come out before you can start turning it.Hope this helps.

How does the spring go in on replacing back brakes on 1993 ford r

They make a brake spring installation tool. You can use vise grips, or hook the spring on a screwdriver and get the edge of the screwdriver abve the pin, and pry up, might take a couple tries.

1993 F150 4x4 w/ auto locking hubs - rotor removal

There are some special 4 tooth and hex sockets for removing the nuts inside the hubs of the truck.
YOu can find these at NAPA or maybe AutoZone or Advance. I would go to NAPA because they more than likely have it and also know something about repairing this assembly.
Ford uses Dana front end parts and NAPA has original Dana parts in stock... so it is as good as or better than original and they would have the tool for it.
Be careful and follow the procedure exactly for putting the front hubs back together.
And trust me... many of the idiots working in repair garages do not know how to do these older 4x4 hubs either... ask someone and read the books for the right procedure... some of the older mechanics may show you how to do it. Ask

How do you remove front brake rotor on k 3500 4x4 1993

pull tire, remove outer hub (automatic or locking?) usually eight hex screws, behind hub assembly is a "wheel bearing nut" about 2" in diameter, this is just a circle with threads on the inside of it and four notches around the outside of it, the only way to get this out is to get the right "wheel bearing nut socket" from an automotive store, just FYI, it is probably going to be a special order tool. after "wheel bearing nut" is off the rotor will come off along with the wheel bearings, while you are in there these should probably be replaced also

1993 f250 7.3 diesel - hard pedal, hard to stop,

Check front calipers, caliper should "float" to be self centering. If the caliper is stuck only the inside pad is pushing on the rotor instead of the caliper pinching the rotor. You will need to remove the caliper from the assembly, there are usually rubber boots to keep out the dirt and water from the slide pins, they are ofter cracked/broken or missing altogether. You may need a small torch and some rustbuster to get things moving again.
