Question about 1992 Volvo 240
It stalls out after starting but I can keep it going if I rev the engine - then I'm good. It does shake quite a bit when I'm at a stop and I can feel that it wants to stall out when I accelerate. Help - I need to car to exist and I'm out of work - broke - is this something I can fix myself? Maybe a 25 amp fuse?
I had the same problem and the air filter was filthy. I replaced it
and it ran like a charm

My 1990 240DL was doing the same thing and it turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator. It, unfortunatley, is a shop repair. $117 for the part and $150 for labor. It runs fine now.
