I have a concern about your vehicle , if your brake pedal has gone down and you have lost brake fluid you may have a leak please check for leaks it may be a loose brake hose or a leaking wheel cylinder , dont just top and leave it .

Brake booster

With the engine off, depress the brake pedal about 6 times, all the way up and down. While holding the hard pedal down, start the engine, and if the booster is working properly, the pedal will fade down a little bit.

Leaking brake fluid from right front wheel 1995 honda passport

Sounds like from what you describe it's a leaking break caliper. The best thing to do is get a rebuilt one. It's best to replace them in pairs. Also replace or clean the brake pads thoroughly!

2005 chevy duramax 4x4 brake pedal goes all the way to the floor, ABS light on

You need to add BRAKE fluid. After that, blead your brakes. You need to find out where the brake fluid went. If there are no leaks, you need to check the remaining life on all four brake sets. If you have no leaks, chances are pretty good that you need new brakes.

My brake is going all the way down .i have put brake fluid in there but they still don't work. it will stop but you have to push the brake all the way down for it to stop.

If you had to add brake fluid, you have a leak somewhere in the braking system and that is what's causing the low brake pedal. Have the brakes checked out asap.

Brake warning light comes on while driving and stays on I have check the brake fluid was down a little bit so i add some. light went off and came back on again do u think i have a leak if so were or...

Try to add again and see if it happens the same. If so, check the wheels to see if there is any leak. Also check on the place you parked over the night. Identify the leak and take action. Function of leak place you may ask for help in fixing it. Another problem to the old cars: they have some sensors in the brake pads. When the pads get thin the brake ligt is on. Chech that too if there is no leak.

I was driving today when I stepped on the brake pedal and it went to the floor. I noticed that my brake fluid was low. I filled it up and pumped the brakes, and it was low again. I did this 3 more times,...

the calipers can leak if the rubber boot around the piston in the caliper is torn-but if you ran the brake tank low, you probably should bleed the system first before you start taking the wheels/calipers/brakes off-start with the one furthest the tank, one at a time-have an assistant push the brake pedal down oftewr you loosen the bleeder bolt. All the way to the floor, close the bleeder, pump the brakes up-do this until there is a steady stream coming out of the bleeders. Do NOT allow the fluid to go empty in the tank, check it frequently while bleeding.

Brake pedal will go all the way to the floor

make sure brake fluid is full. then pump brakes for one minuite check the fluid to see if it went down or stayed full. if it went down then check the system for a leak . if it stays full then you will need a new mastercylender . i dont think you have a vacum problem cause this causes a verry stiff brake pedal not one that goes to the floor
