So mark distributor base to block, then mark rotor position, take it out.
when you reinstall put your rotor on mark, drop it in with you distributor base to block lined up

My son has a 1994 camero. I would like to know how to replace the freeze plugs. I believe there are 3 behing the transmision.

the trans will need to be removed to replace those 2 or 3. at the back of the engine. the others will be hard to get to. Freeze plugs are good for the life of the car IF the corect antifreeze at the right concentration is used. If the cooling system is rusty, nasty, you may be best to replace ALL with brass plugs.

I need the firing order and distributor diagram for a 305 engine on a 1994 chevy silverado.

The correct firing order is 18436572. If you need the correct cylinder locations they are as follows:
Drivers side from the front 1 3 5 7
Passenger side from the front 2 4 6 8

I have replaced my waterpump on my 1994 camero i

the process is still the same,so if you did one of 'em...then you can do 'em all. this one will be no harder than the camaro.
makes me feel good to see females doing this stuff on thier own,as to many shops give te rest of us a bad name by tryig to overcharge them.
your best bet if you continue to work on your own vehicle,is to go to an autoparts store, and buy the HAYNES repair manual for your vehicle. they are 20 bucks at Autozone, and are invaluable with info. I ALWAYS buy them when i buy a car or truck...they are easy to understand and cover everything from changing the oil to removing and rebuilding the engine.
Let me know how it went!!
