Horn on my 1991 Toyota pickup only works when steering wheel cranked hard right!

There is a small round connector inside of the steering wheel that allows the wheel to turn and the horn to still make electrical connection. It sounds like this is worn and not making good connection any longer. I would see about finding some replacement parts and having them replaced.

1991 toyota pick up makes a weird sound when i drive

The proplem with your car is the propellr shaft universal joint and possibly the rear wheel bearing. Get the mechanic to help you check your propeller universal joint and your rea wheel bearing. A defective propeller universal joint is very risky and if it pulls, this might cause fatal accident. I wish you the best.

Four wheel drive will shake when turning

If all is fine when moving in a straight line - you are probably OK. Turning while in four wheel drive, especially a full hard over turn, puts a great amount of strain on the universal (or CV) joints of the steering axles. Although CV joints are smoother they too still have to supply power to the steering wheels at an angle while turning. If you have concerns about the CV or universal joints, jack up your vehicle, secure it with blocks at the wheels and put on jack stands, then inspect the joints checking for excess play. Rotate the front tires back and forth by hand while watching and feeling for unnatural movement or obvious broken joints. They may be difficult to see if covered with a rubber boot. If you do have boots, they need to be in good shape since they are designed to keep dirt out of the joint. If they are not in good shape, broken or split, they should be replaced. Let me know if this helps. Thanks

My friend, you might want to do a complete inspection of your vehicle before you do any repair to it. Bluntly said, ya cant weld to rust. Even if you can repair it, how long will it be before something else important falls off???

Please check the entire under carriage of your vehicle.

Vibration if front end, had a alignment new tires, speed balance, new rims, shocks, even changed the universal joints. When you get over 45 mph it starts the faster you go the worst it gets.

If you could rack the truck and run the rear wheel at the speed untill you feel rhe vibration you might be able to isolate it, I agree, it may be a drive shaft issue, have you checked the u joints for wear, all of them,?
