It depends on how heavy of a load you are towing. If it's your stated amount, you should at least have a transmission cooler added, unless the vehicle came with a tow package that included it. I would assume that your hitch weight will be around 100kg, and I don't think you need overload rear suspension parts for that, unless you also fill the back of the cruiser with heavy stuff. (You need to consider your total load, not just the trailer) Rick

Ive got a towed in right rear wheel on a 04 pt cruiser rear quarto wreck where more than likley should i start looking to get this wheel straight axle spindle watts link or complete rear end change

Unibody should be checked @ a body shop that has measuring system to check length, width, height. If thats good replace rear suspension then get vehicle aligned. It will be safe and won't wear out your tires prematurely.

Catalytic converter for a 2004 limited 2lt needs replacing what is the product code so i can search for replacement parts

There is but one source for the catlytic converter for your car, that is your local dealers parts dept. Aftermarket cats will not work, they will cause the check engine light to come and set code P0420.

I have a 2002 pt cruiser touring. I was driving and the oil light came on and then the car slowed down and died on me. It won't start and it sunds like it wonts to but it won't and the oil light...

Don't try start the engine when the oil light turn on, it would harm your piston, camshaft and crankshaft
It should be the oil pump has broken and need to replace, tow your car to the nearest service center

How do you get a 2002 pt cruiser into neutral without a key its an automatic

Without disconnecting the linkage you don't. You would have to disconnect the linkage and put it in neutral manually. If your trying to tow the vehicle it is better to put the front wheels on a dolly or lift from the front. Towing a front wheel drive with the wheels on the pavement is not usually a good thing as it tends to damage the transmission. If you have no choice but to tow it with all 4 wheels on the ground you will have to disconnect the linkage and put it in Neutral manually or use the key to unlock the steering and shifter assembly and tie the steering. If your worried about battery drain with the ignition in the on position disconnect the negative battery terminal.

I have a 2005 PT Cruiser engine is running rough and the engine light is flashing. will it hurt to drive it to a shop

I wouldnt reccomend to anyone to drive a vehicle with a check engine light on. Its on telling you that there is a problem that could cause engine damage . So it is reccomended if possible to tow vehicle in whenever there is a check engine light on.

Tow limit

Not knowing the specifics for your truck are (2 wd, 4 wd, engine size, reg cab, extended or crew, gear ratio etc)

I'm giving you a ball park on the towing limits, they'll be within 500# of the towing limit.
2 WD

3.5L 7000-7500#
3.5L automatic transmission w/3:73 gears 8000-8500#
4 WD
2.8L 6500-7000#
3.5L 7500-8000#
3.5 L automatic transmission w/3:73 gears 8500-9000#

Do you need a transmission oil cooler to tow a 1200kg caravan

I would suggest you do get one fitted or fit one,as it really does lower the working temperature or the transmission, and lengthens the life, think of it like the engine having lesser sized radiator.Temperature of the oil any time counts to longevity if its always in the lower range

Car died at the stoplight. Oil light came on.

Probably blowed it. Sorry to say. You can continue to crank it but it probably already seized a bearing. Run a pressure check on the oil.
