2002 Town and Country wont start

Just bought a used 02 T & C on Saturday. Today is Tuesday, went out this morning to go to work and the car wouldnt start at all. Doesn't seem to be the battery bc lights, radio, power locks/doors, etc. all work just fine. The engine doesnt click or anything when I try to turn the key, just nothing at all. No noise. Also, I noticed that all the gears are lit up (Park, Reverse, Drive, Neutral....). I had to put the car into neutral to push it back to get my other car out of the garage, and even when I changed gears to neutral, all gears were lit. PLEASE help!!! I feel like just kicking myself I spent all my savings on this thing (im a 21 year old mother of two so my savings are hard earned and not very much!!). Any help I can get would be soooooo appreciated!!!! You can imagine im totally freakin out right now!

We cannot find the starter... the red wire from the battery runs to or under the relay box?? If that sounds correct... Do i need to remove that box?

First place to start is to have someone put a volt meter across the battery and read actual battery voltage. It should be better than 12v. Next, remove and clean both battery connections to ensure that you have a good solid connection. After that you need to check the other end of both cables to make sure that they are tight. Your car uses a starter solenoid.(located near the battery on the fender...the positive cable goes to it, then to the starter. You will need to check to see if 12v is reaching that solenoid (small wire) with the key turned to "start" and if it is, the heavy wire that goes to the starter should then also have 12v. If this happens then starter is bad. If no volts at small wire, then either the neutral safety switch or ignition switch is bad or out of adjustment.
Post back and I'll go into further stuff if you need it!

I drove my chrysler town and country this morning, when I went out to drive again the tail lights were on evenwhen the car was off. Its a 2002

are you sure its the tail lights and not the stop lights , could be the stop light switch that is under the dash and right above the brake pedal may be stuck.

2008 town and country wont start

02 or 08 if its an 02 and its the original battery replace the battery you received 3 extra years on your battery . if you jumped the car incorrectly there is a fuse link under the hood that blows out to protect your system. if its an 08 take your battery out and have it tested at your local auto parts store, may need a charge if this does not work i need more info
ps if your headlights come on strong with no real dimming of the interior lights battery is usually ok, if the interior lights dim or go out baterry is usually in need of charge or replacement , must see what caused that to happen, need more info

2006 Chevrolet Uplander Parking Lights Stay On

My 2006 Uplander would not shut off the parking lights. I came here for a solution. I saw the answer here, actually the question, and I used the key fob to lock the vehicle. The lights went off. That was a temporary solve. Now, is this a "glitch" or a "feature"?

2002 town and country wont start but is making a clicking noise

Its a 2002 so I bet it is not the starter. So many cars today have so many options that the batteries are really subjected to alot of use. They seem to wear on sooner. Check the battery first. Put a voltmeter across it w/o the engine running. At the very least it would have 9.5-10V. If not change the battery. Get the correct group # but get a larger capacity.
