Question about 2007 Ford Fusion I4 SEL Sedan
Over the course of several weeks my LCD (I guess that's what it is) was fading in and out and you could press on the screen and it would come back for a time, but now it's completely gone. The radio and CD player work fine you just can't see what station you are on, Track of a CD or the time. Is this off of a fuse?? I can't find anything in the manual. Thanks.
I was told by the Ford dealership that I had to replace the entire radio. This is also happening with my Ford Fusion (2007). I opted not to replace w/ the same radio because what if it happens again?? My lights came back after some time, but who knows how long they will last.

I have the answer!! Common problem with the fusion, is caused by microscopic cracks in the soldering on the circuit board inside the radio. Easy fix, just re-solder all points on the board and will work perfect. cost $20
